With the Meadoweb and the Enterprise Fellowship Scheme

The Enterprise Fellowship Scheme (EFS) has nurtured yet another innovative business, with Meadoweb ready to delivery 24x7 IT support to any business or home computer user not covered by an IT support department.

The cofounders of Meadoweb - from the University of Warwick's Computer Science department - were sent to workshops on marketing, accounting, finance, sales and negotiation. In the words of Meadoweb's General Manager, "The business education we received was practical above all else - precisely what a startup business owner needs."

EFS introduced Meadoweb to investors through the Springboard investment conference, and referred Meadoweb to the Cambridge Enterprise Conference. At Cambridge, Meadoweb's business plan achieved high acclaim.

Meadoweb recently received wide press coverage from FT.com, the Coventry Evening Telegraph, and to computing industry websites worldwide. This was achieved through public relations provided to Meadoweb by the EFS.

The Meadoweb co-founders concurred: "The support given to us by EFS has been fantastic. Not only in education and solid business support, but in advice and moral support. The staff at EFS including our business development manager, Nadine Harris and Sue Heath really understand what new businesses need. This has made the first 6 months of Meadoweb not only easier, but so much more fun!"
