The Warwick Arts Centre has an exciting comedy line-up for the Autumn term, including top names Lenny Henry, Tony Robinson, and Linda Smith. The Arts Centre will play host to 12 top comedian acts in the coming months, with more exciting plans for the New Year.

Acts:

Lenny Henry – Star of Hope and Glory, and True Identity plus many BBC comedies, including Lenny Henry in Pieces. Lenny Henry is visiting the Arts Centre in his brand new show, So Much Things To Say

Jeff Green – The comedian and best selling author of the The A-Z of Living Together and The A-Z of Being Single, he will explore the themes of love, life and domestic bliss

Linda Smith – A regular guest on BBC radio and television shows such as Have I Got News For You? and They Think It’s All Over, Linda Smith is bringing her new full-length show that blends topical and political issues with absolute comedy

Tony RobinsonBlackadder star Tony Robinson tells his tales of the Worst Jobs in History, from The Gong Scourer to the Pipe Roll Transcriber.

Boothby Graffoe – As himself, the star of BBC Radio 4’s Boothby Graffoe in No Particular Order

Jimmy Carr – Multi award winner and host of Channel 4’s game show Distraction, Jimmy Carr comes to the Arts Centre with his latest stand up show

Jeremy Hardy – Perrier Award-winner, Ex-Guardian columnist, and radio star of Jeremy Hardy Speaks To The Nation

Mark Thomas – Politically active comedian who has tried to take the UK Government to court over its involvement in the Iraq war, his next show follows two sold out tours

John Hegley – One night only of the Edinburgh Festival favourite

Jumping on the Bandwagon - By the stars of Phoenix Nights

The Joy of Wine – The Black Sheep Theatre Company and the Reverend Andrew Jones will convert the audience to wine

The Keith Barrett Show Live starring Rob Brydon – Rob Brydon, the star of Marion and Geoff, as the hapless chauffeur Keith Barrett in his return to the Warwick Arts Centre
