Warwick Student Radio Station Nominated for 6 Student Radio Station Awards
On Saturday 18 October representatives from RaW, Warwick’s student radio station, travelled to Loughborough to the Student Radio Association award nomination event.
RaW received six nominations, a total beaten only by Sunderland’s Utopia who earned seven nominations.
RaW’s nominations are in the following categories:

The annual awards are sponsored by Radio 1 and the Radio Academy. This year an amazing 23 different stations are competing for awards.
The ceremony will be held at Canvas, a new London venue, on Friday 21 November. Radio 1 DJ Emma B will host the event and presenters on the night will include: Colin Murray, Nemone, Wes Butters, Radio Academy Director John Bradford and Controller of Radio 1 Andy Parfitt.
