Warwick Enterprise Fund - An Opportunity for Outreach Activities

Originally Published 26 August 2004

Following the University of Warwick’s HEIF2 success earlier this year, we are pleased to announce the opening of the first round of the Warwick Enterprise Fund.

Set up as part of the HEIF2 funding, the Warwick Enterprise Fund will support outreach activities that will transfer University skills, expertise, knowledge or technology to business, the public sector or communities of interest.

£285,000 is available over two rounds of applications and any member of University staff can apply for full or portions of budgets for outreach activities. The first round is open now, offering £165,000 of the available funds, with the remaining £120,000 up for grabs in the November 2004 round (deadline TBC).

Application forms are available online, with the deadline for submissions in the first round set at Friday 1st October.

Further information, including assessment criteria for applications and conditions, may be found on the new Warwick Enterprise Fund webpage.

Other HEIF2 funded opportunities are also open to University staff from developing CPD courses, teaching entrepreneurship, through to publicising research and exploiting Intellectual Property. Further details are available on the HEIF2 webpage.
