Kenilworth Show, Sunday 1^st of June – organized by The Kenilworth and District Agricultural Society and sponsored by the University of Warwick. The show provides something for all ages and interests, with a wide variety of events and demonstrations, including: Show Jumping, Falconry, Farmers Market, Dancing Diggers, Equestrian Showing, Cyril the Squirrel and his Racing Terriers, and the very best of regional food and drink. Tickets are £8 (£5 for students) and can be bought at their website or at the gate. 

Leamington Peace Festival, 14^th-15^th June – Celebrating its 30^th anniversary this year! It’s a free festival in the heart of historic Leamington, with over 120 stalls – charities, activists, spiritual groups, healers, crafts and fair traders. It also features two entertainment areas, a children’s tent and a workshop tent.

Warwick Student Arts Festival, 20^th-24^th June – The entire campus will be over-run with creativity at the end of June. The programme ranges from a production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream on Midsummer Eve, to a hip-hop and urban break-dance competition. There will also be many pieces of student written drama, music, studio art, and films presented.

Kenilworth Carnival 5^th July – The Kenilworth Carnival is one of the biggest and most successful in the area. The day begins with a parade and procession around the streets of Kenilworth and ends in Abbey Fields, which is transformed into a fairground with stalls and a traditional pig roast. Tickets will be sold on the day in Abbey Fields from about 12 noon. 

Godiva Festival, 4^th–6^th July – Taking place in Coventry’s Memorial Park, the Godiva Festival is the largest free family festival in the UK. With an array of rock, pop, hip-hop, acoustic artists, orchestras, comedy acts, a human circus and sublime entertainment, it is not hard to see why Godiva attracts more than 70,000 visitors each year. Previous artists have included The Enemy, Leo Sayer, The Fratellis and Kasabian.

Kenilworth Festival, 18^th – 20^th July - The Festival will take over Abbey Fields and many local venues. The detailed list of events has not yet been released but previous years have included: sell-out talks by local writer Andrew Davies, a barn dance, pig roast, craft show, tea dance, musical performances and many other attractions. 

Stratford Poetry Festival, 1^st July-19^th August – Well known personalities will be presenting poetry from all periods, including contemporary poets reading their own work, local poets, a poetry mass and an evening of verse written by local children for National Poetry Day. Most of the readings will take place on Sunday evenings in Stratford venues.
