The Young Entrepreneurs Forum

Warwick Entrepreneurs' flagship event, The Young Entrepreneurs Forum, takes place on the 7th March at the Warwick Business School Teaching Centre.

Sponsored by Merrill Lynch, the free event brings together a community of entrepreneurs, students, graduates and staff from Warwick and beyond for an afternoon of inspiring stories from some of the UK's finest young entrepreneurs.

There will also be an interactive discussion forum and a networking session run by the Warwick Connective Society.

Speakers include Imran Hakim (Dragons Den winner, iTeddy), Hermione Way (newspepper.com) and Andy Young (GroupSpaces.com)

Imran Hakim got his big break on BBC Television's 'Dragons Den', with his innovative iTeddy product and he currently heads a portfolio containing sixteen different businesses ranging from a venture capitalist firm (Rainmakers) to independent optician practices.

Hermione Way's Newspepper is a new media social enterprise, offering student reporters, editors and camera operators the opportunity to build their portfolio at high-profile events.

Andy Young is an experienced web developer who leads product strategy and development at GroupSpaces, an Oxford-based start-up revolutionizing the way real-world groups and communities manage themselves online, with advertising contracts with blue-chip companies including IBM, McKinsey & Company and JP Morgan.
  • The event will start at midday and finish at 4pm. Admission is free but you must register online.
