The Paralympics get underway with the opening ceremony from 8pm on Wednesday 29 August. There will be daily coverage from Channel 4 between 8am and 10.30pm available to view on the big screen in the Piazza.

The London 2012 Olympic Games officially get underway with a spectacular opening ceremony this week, and we’ll be showing all the action here on campus.

Great Britain’s top pole vault athlete leapt on to campus last week to deliver a master class in athletics to a group of school children from Stoke Park School.

The Olympic Torch will pass near the University of Warwick campus on Sunday 1st July.

As an Official Training Venue for Olympic Football, Warwick was visited by representatives from participating nations for an inspection in April, ahead of the teams' arrival.
