Dani Caverzaschi

First year student Dani in Economics selected to represent Spain in the wheelchair tennis event at the London 2012 Paralympic Games this summer.

Tom Aggar

Paralympic and world champion Tom Aggar studied at Warwick. He will be defending his title in the single scull event after winning gold at the Beijing Games in 2008.

Tom Solesbury

Tom Solesbury took up rowing while at Warwick. At the London 2012 Olympic Games he made the final of the men's quadruple scull, finishing 5th.

Head of Warwick Sport and Warwick alumnus Gemma Morris joins the LOCOG team as Football Hotels Operations Manager for Coventry.

Richard Salter

First year Computer and Business Studies undergraduate Richard carried the torch through Yeovil on 22 May 2012.

Holly Parker

Holly, a Theatre and Performance Studies finalist, carried the torch through Alcester on 1 July 2012.

 

Volunteers

Jennifer Sibley

Jennifer, a recent Warwick graduate, has been helping out at the Olympic Park as a Games Maker volunteer. We spoke to her about the role and her highlights so far.

Elizabeth Bower

Elizabeth is an actress and graduate of Theatre Studies and Dramatic Arts. She was a dancer in the Olympics Opening Ceremony.

Julia Dorrington

Julia, a literature student at Warwick, writes for student newspaper The Boar about her experience as a Games Maker volunteer at the Olympic Park.

Rose Jarvis

Rose is the CSI Project Co-ordinator and is volunteering as a National Technical Officer for the sailing events.

Alice is the Administrative Officer (Widening Participation) in the Academic Registrar's Office and volunteered at the Selection Event in 2011.
