Tom Aggar

Tom Aggar is a British Paralympian rower and Warwick alumnus. Originally from London, Tom graduated from Warwick with a First class degree in Biological Sciences. Whilst at Warwick, Tom played Rugby for the University's 1st XV.

Tom started training as a rower just after he left university, and within two years went on to win a gold medal at the World Championships in 2007 and again at the Beijing Paralympic Games in 2008; the first year that Paralympic Rowing was introduced to the competition. He would later win the Rowing World Championships again in 2009 and 2010.

In recognition of the incredible achievements in his rowing career, Tom was made the International Rowing Federation's first 'Adaptive Rower of the Year' in January 2010.
