One World Warwick Returns to Showcase International Connections and Fund Global Research
Following a successful launch in November 2024, One World Warwick is back showcasing The University of Warwick's global partnerships and international opportunities for staff and students.
The One World Warwick programme celebrates and reflects the University's commitment to a global future. The campaign is now highlighting Warwick's strong international partnerships and its dedication to shaping a better future through education, research, and cross-cultural connections.
Throughout March there will be student-led discussions with global leaders on regional development, celebrations of multilingualism and cultural diversity, career events connecting students with global employers, and research collaborations tackling critical global challenges.
Academics are also being supported to apply for a number of international funding opportunities developed in conjunction with our university partners across the globe, tackling critical global challenges through research and innovation.
Professor Michael Scott, Pro-Vice-Chancellor International said, "Warwick's international identity is deeply ingrained in its DNA. We recognise we are richer for the many communities that make us, and we see the world as a place that can be transformed for the better by learning and working together.
"This year marks our 60th year and we're cherishing our past, celebrating where we are today and looking forward to an exciting future. One World Warwick is a celebration of our global community, impact, connections and opportunities, it forms part of our recently launched International Strategy and reaffirms our commitment to creating positive change for society in our 60th anniversary year. These seed funds, created in conjunction with our global partners, will contribute to high impact research that tackles today's global challenges.
As part of One World Warwick the University has announced a number of international seed funds developed in conjunction with our university partners across the globe, to support collaborations between Warwick academics and academics in these partner institutions. This portfolio of new and established seed funds brings together world leading universities across China, Singapore, Australia, Canada and South Africa.
