Research Computing Drop-In

The Research Computing Drop In is a weekly event to support, engage, and inform all Warwick researchers from PGR to Senior Professor in all things Research Computing. Research Computing is any research where use of a computer is integral to the research. Anyone matching this description is welcome to come along and engage with others on this topic.


Bioinformatics RTP Clinics

Bioinformatics RTP Clinics take place weekly in a 3-hour format. Join us at any point during these three hours and we will deal with your Bioinformatics queries on the spot if at all possible. Talk to us about Bioinformatics analyses, new technologies, high-performance computing, programming, one-to-one training, or any other questions. Do feel free to just join us for chat, too, without a specific question.

Celebrating 10 years of the RTPs: Research Computing seminar

Join us for the RTP 10 year celebration seminar series! This Research Computing seminar will showcase RTP-enabled research from a broad range of disciplines, from modern languages and cultures through to psychology, life sciences and chemistry. We will also highlight the research computing infrastructure, support and expertise available to all Warwick researchers through the RTPs.

RSE Midlands 2024: Calling all those interested in Research Software Engineering in the Midlands!

Dr Matthew Ismail appointed as Technical Director of Research Computing

Dr Matthew Ismail has been appointed to the new role of Technical Director of Research Computing. Matt will bring significant experience in managing high performance computing (HPC) architectures, including the EPSRC Tier 2 HPC facility “Sulis”, and a background in research to lead an enhanced, more strategic, visible and secure research computing provision to underpin the world class research at Warwick.
