Dr Godwin Yeboah Contributes to HETS 2025 Workshop on Research Culture

Warwick RSE Summer Meeting - 22nd May 2025

We are excited to invite you to the upcoming Warwick Research Software Engineering (RSE) Summer Meeting on Thursday, 22nd May 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This meeting continues our series of gatherings aimed at sharing insights and fostering collaboration within our RSE community.

The agenda will feature presentations from Warwick community members (experts from Information and Digital Group, Mathematics Institute, and Bioinformatics Research Technology Platforms), including a short talk by an Executive Director and Senior Researcher from the US Research Software Engineer Association and San Diego Supercomputer Center (USA). Dr. Godwin Yeboah Honoured with Research Enabler Award 2025

We are proud to announce that Dr. Godwin Yeboah has been awarded the prestigious Warwick Research Enabler Award 2025 as part of our 60 Years Celebration. This award, presented by the University, recognizes Dr. Yeboah's exceptional dedication to enhancing research culture and supporting researchers, technicians, and partners in achieving excellence.

The Warwick Research Celebration event on April 7th was a fantastic opportunity to reflect on our collective achievements and look ahead to a future of impactful research. Congratulations to Dr. Yeboah and all the award winners! Let's continue to innovate, inspire, and create positive change together.

There will be ample opportunities for networking during lunch and the unconference session. Godwin Yeboah awarded Software Sustainability Institute Fellowship

We are thrilled to announce that Godwin Yeboah, a Senior Research Software Engineer from the Research Computing team, has been selected as a Software Sustainability Fellow for the 2025 cohort. This prestigious fellowship recognizes Godwin's dedication to advancing software practices and his visionary plan to establish a Community of Digital Humanities Research Software Engineers in the Midlands.

The fellowship, which includes a £4000 grant and mentorship, will empower Godwin to foster collaboration and innovation among like-minded professionals. He will join a network of passionate fellows committed to promoting excellence in software sustainability and community-building.

Congratulations to Godwin on this remarkable achievement! We look forward to witnessing the positive impact of his fellowship on the digital humanities and research software engineering landscape.
