Warwick RSE Meetings in the Academic Year 2024-25

  • Venue: Wolfson Research Exchange (REX 1&2). Online participation will be possible via MS Teams.

Meeting summary:

  • Part 1 (11:00 - 12:00): Three 15-20 minute short talks (Session chair: Godwin Yeboah).
    • Tobias Ribizel, Building an efficient Continuous Integration workflow on HPC systems, Technical University of Munich, Germany.
    • Fernando J. Abudinén, Making simulation for particle physics thread safe – EvtGen, Department of Physics, University of Warwick.
    • Callan Littlejohn, Touchstone and other tools for high resolution mass spectrometry, Department of Chemistry, University of Warwick.
  • Lunch (12:00 - 13:00)
  • Part 2 (13:00 - 14:00): One 15-20 minute short talk followed by an unconference session (Session chair: Sarah Roggendorf).
    • Miguel Ramos Pernas, Analysis preservation and reproducibility in particle physics, Department of Physics, University of Warwick.

    • Unconference session.

The agenda will feature presentations from our community members, including a short talk by a Doctoral Researcher from the Technical University of Munich. There will be ample opportunities for networking during lunch and the unconference session.
