Wallwork, Alan
Born: 1931. Nationality: British.
Trained at Goldsmith's College, he set up his first workshop in 1957 in South London. In 1964 he moved to Marnhull, Dorset, where his pottery produced a range of stoneare and earthenware. In the 1970s tile production was expanded, but soaring fuel costs brought quantity production to an end. In 1984 Wallwork moved to Uplyme, near Lyme Regis, where he produces individual pieces inspired by natural forms.
