For Campus Landscape: Hazel Hedge David West has used the technique of inlaying, a method mainly used by furniture makers. The design is composed of different colured woods inset into a solid ash base and is a sort of drawing in which the natural forms of a hedgerow are contrasted with geometric, architectural shapes beyond.
