Born 1972, Dublin, Ireland.

Eva Rothschild studied at the University of Ulster (BA Hons, Fine Art 1990-1993) and Goldsmiths’ College, London (MA Fine Art 1997-1999).

She began exhibiting in 1995 and quickly established herself as an inventive and innovatory sculptor, gaining recognition throughout Europe and the USA for her use of a rich variety of forms and materials.

When the new Hepworth Wakefield Gallery was opened in 2011 Rothschild was invited to create several works for the inaugural exhibition, one of which, Wandering Palm, was purchased for the permanent collection.
