Jared Fisher studied Fine Art at Middlesex University and was awarded a B.A. degree in 1998. He went on to the Royal College of Art where he gained an M.A. in 2000.

He had success in the RCA Art Show in 2000 with works which made reference to surrealism and post-modern pastiche. Fisher is also a musician, playing in the experimental band 'Socrates That Practices Music' whose album 'Spritza Boy' was issued in 2005 by Junior Asprin Records, a company specialising in the work of performers who straddle the art world and the music industry.
