Radar Painting by Jared Fisher
|
'Radar Painting' seems to play with the idea of depicting the unseeable. While the 'drawing of specimen' appears to promise an explanation of the principles of radar location, the diagram and the text are rendered so as to deliberately mystify. Clear form and colour are eschewed in favour of the subtle indications offered by shadows created in the textured white paint, thus making a visual allusion to the indiscernible path of radio waves through space.
