Paul Benjamins
Born London, 1950.
Benjamins trained at the Camberwell School of Art (1969-73) and the Royal College of Art (1973-75).
His paintings, monoprints and screenprints are often landscape-based though not necessarily of a specific location. He says he wishes to evoke a strong feeling of place which may trigger a sense of recognition but would be more like something one would glimpse 'from the corner of the eye'.
His work has been shown regularly in London and elsewhere in the UK as well as France, in solo and group shows and is represented in several private and public collections.
