Richard Kidd is well known for making paintings that include an element of drawing and for combining shaped cavases together to create a work that has a strong sense of movement. This painting is one of a number of abstract works that have been presented to the University by Nyda and Oliver Prenn. Mr and Mrs Prenn were also the instigators of the commission of the sculpture 'Lets Not be Stupid' which stands in front of the Rootes Social Building.
