Russell Reeve
Born: 1895. Died: 1970. Nationality: British.
Russell Reeve was born in Norwich and studied at the Norwich School of Art. After service in the First World War, he attended the Slade School of Art (1919 - 1922). He lived in London but had strong associations with Suffolk whose landscapes and people featured in much of his work.
He exhibited at the Royal Academy, the Royal Society of British Artists, the New English Art Club and elsewhere. His work is in the collections of the Tate Gallery and the Victoria and Albert Museum, as well as in the Government Art Collection.
