The importance of light, colour and composition to Jones’ practice is most apparent. By using complementary colours, orange and blue, both colours appear brighter and spring out at the viewer.

Jones plays with the notion of fact versus fiction. Are these real situations or are they staged? The viewer is forced to enter into an internal conversation not only about the veracity of the situation but also about what will happen next and what went on before the moment was caught on camera.
