Simon Verity
Born: 1945. Nationality: British.
Simon Verity received his training through the architectural practice of Oliver Hill and through Robert Baker's teaching at Wells Cathedral. Much of his work has been garden sculpture such as the seated nude for the National Trust at Kiftsgate, Warwickshire, and the Fountain at Barnsley House. Other commissions have included the lettering for the entrance to the Henry Cole Wing at the Victoria and Albert Museum, and the Grotto at Leeds Castle in Kent and the West Portal of the Cathedral of St John the Divine, New York.
