Seen from far away, The Falcon cannot Hear The Falconer seems completely black against the whiteness of the paper. However as you approach the work you realise that it comprises different colours and textures. Tessa Beaver creates a sense of mystery and the viewer may sense that something is hidden deeper with the work. Talking about this work, the artist said that "there is a sense of space stretching behind the darkness".
