Wolfgang Tillmans

Originally a fashion photographer, Tillmans began to move away from commercial photography after studying at Bournemouth and Poole College of Art & Design.  He subsequently emerged as one of the most important photographers during the 1990s, and was the first to win the Turner Prize using this medium in 2000.
