Zena Flax

Born 1930, London.

Zena Flax went to Chelsea School of Art from 1949-53 where she studied illustration.  She then went to the Central School of Arts and Crafts from 1953-55 where she concentrated on etching.  From 1970-74 she was a lecturer at Barking College of Technology before joining a graphic design group until 1981.  Since 1991 she has been a freelance graphic designer and illustrator.

She was a member of the Printers Inc Workshop and exhibited with them  In 1991 she had a solo exhibition at the Sternberg Centre for Judaism in London. 

The Ben Uri Art Society holds her work.
