How to get to the University - Getting Here
We hope you will come and explore the Artworks on site. We have a sculpture trail on campus with fifteen sculptures. Maps of the trail can be collected from the Mead Gallery entrance and the Box Office in the Arts Centre, or you can print the leaflet yourself at home here. We also have lots of activities for families as you go round the trail including word searches, puzzles and a mystery trail for those who are feeling adventurous. You can find all these on our Family Fun page, either print them at home or ask at the Mead Gallery entrance desk and we can provide you with copies and clipboards to take round.
Once on campus if you come to the Arts Centre Box Office we will be able to point you in the right direction. If you contact the Curator or Assistant Curator in advance of your visit we can create a special trail for you. The Curator also offers special guided tours of the collection three times a year. The tours are advertised on our events page. The Curator can be contacted on 024765 74179 or contact the Assistant Curator on 024765 24731.
Mobility Impaired Users -
The University campus is generally accessible to wheelchair users and people with mobility impairments. There is a fairly steep gradient on the pathway and road between the Main Campus and Gibbet Hill Campus where Biological Sciences and Warwick Medical School are located, but this is the only gradient of any significance on the site.
Most teaching blocks have lift access to all floors and lifts are located in some of the halls of residence. There is an ongoing development program to improve lift access within residences.
Accessible accommodation and car-parking for disabled drivers can be provided. Applicants and current students who require more information about arrangements for provision should contact Disability Services.
For visitors to the campus, two power wheelchairs are available on loan. Please contact Warwick Conferences on +44 (0) 24 7652 3222 or conferences@warwick.ac.uk for additional information.
Students with temporary mobility difficulties (as a result for example of a broken leg) can discuss their transport requirements and other arrangements with Disability Services and their Department too.
Wherever possible, timetabling will take account of access requirements and mobility impairments in the allocation of teaching rooms.
