Dear Parents and carers 

As part of our application for the Eco Green Flag Award, the nursery has been taking part in planting trees and hedgerows on Campus for the last few years. This year we have been successful in securing 30 saplings from the Woodland Trust. 

Green Room will be planting the saplings behind the nursery near the Heronbank and Lakeside residencies. This event will take place on Tuesday 19^th November at 10am.

If you would like to join us, please be at the nursery for 9.45am and we will walk together to the site. Please wear suitable footwear. Staff from the University Estates will be there to assist us and will supply spades etc. 

Please let me know if you are going to attend. Let’s hope it’s not raining! 😊
