Lecture Capture Requests for 2025/26 – Information and Guidance

πŸ“† Submitting Your Lecture Capture Requests

As we prepare for the upcoming 2025/26 academic year, it's important to ensure that all teaching sessions requiring lecture capture are scheduled correctly and in a timely manner. With demand for this service at its peak during the start of term, following the correct process helps avoid delays and ensures recordings are available when needed.

Lecture capture is used in over 260 rooms on campus using Echo360 devices and what can be recorded depends on a number of factors, including the room, the scheduling request and consent being given by the presenter to be recorded. It can be used to record single, recurring or multiple events.

Please read the information below and refer to the 'Schedule a lecture captureLink opens in a new window' guidance to understand how to submit your requests and check the status of scheduled sessions.

πŸ”„ Processing Order

  • Requests are processed in order of soonest session first.
  • Due to high demand, some requests may only be completed shortly before the event.
