Managing your portfolio

Managing a portfolio involves more than collecting evidence and showcasing achievements.

It is also important to maintain accurate records, share content appropriately, and help to ensure your portfolio remains a safe and professional space.

This guide will cover key tasks including creating and saving snapshots of your work with the Timeline feature, how to export part or all of a portfolio and removing objectionable content.

In this guide:

Using the Timeline feature

Portfolios often show progress over time. However, what did a particular portfolio page look like at the start of the development process, a month ago or two days ago? The timeline makes those changes over time visible and allows the viewer to go back in time and look at an old version of the portfolio page and track how the page has developed.

Changes and updated versions are not saved to the timeline automatically so as not to overload it with tiny changes in rapid succession. You can decide when you want to save a version of your portfolio to your timeline.

Saving a snapshot to the Timeline

  1. On the dashboard, select  Create. Select the page you want to create a Timeline for.
  2. On the far right of the page, select the to open the options and select   Save to Timeline.

View a snapshot on the Timeline

  2. On the far right of the page, select the   to open the options and select Timeline to open a visual representation of all the snapshots taken for this page.
  3. Click on one of the dots on the line to view that version of the portfolio
  4. If there are a lot of entries, filter by date
  5. If the entries extend over a long period, scroll left and right using the arrows.
