The Department is committed to high quality, rigorous interdisciplinary research and scholarship in the broad and diverse field of Education. As well as long established research areas in childhood, religion and society, leadership, drama and theatre education; new appointments to the Department have meant that our interests have further diversified into new areas such as social justice, education policy, Higher Education, Islamic education, philosophy and creativity.
