UEFA Nations League - Information

Welcome to the Nations League at Warwick

We’re excited to be showing all four games from the UEFA Nations League finals, and would love you to join us. If you are able to be with us for the fun and excitement, we want you to feel that everything’s in place for you to have a great time throughout the tournament. That’s why, with the help of both you and CCTV, we’ll do all we can to keep everyone safe and happy.

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE…

Our outdoor Big Screen can be found at the Piazza on the University of Warwick’s campus, which is accessible to everyone. There are concrete steps in front of the Big Screen, which you can sit on. However, you’re welcome to bring along your own cushions, blankets or more comfortable chairs.

Keep an eye out for the likely weather conditions so you can dress accordingly.

How do I get there?

The University of Warwick’s campus is changing quite a bit at the moment, which is causing some road works. Therefore, please allow extra time for your journey.

Car

There are plenty of safe parking spaces near the Big Screen. When arriving on campus, follow the signs for the car parks. The closest car parks are Car Parks 8 and 8A.

If you’re a Blue badge holder, you can park for free (at all times) in the spaces available at the rear of Senate House and on Health Centre Road.

PLEASE NOTE: multi-storey car parks do not have a lift.

Train  The nearest mainline station is Coventry. From Coventry station you can catch a No. 11 or 12 bus, which takes approximately 15 minutes, or a taxi.
Bus

Regular services run between Coventry, Leamington and Kenilworth to the University of Warwick’s campus. The number 11, 12, U1 and U2 are the main routes to get you to the University.

Refreshments

For the three matches taking place on Thursday and Sunday, food and drink will be available to buy from our Piazza stalls and from our Student Union outlets, details here.

You can bring soft drinks, as long as they’re in sealed plastic 500ml bottles only. However, you can’t bring alcohol to campus – feel free to visit the bars at the event though.

And remember:

Our big-screen football events are family-friendly occasions for all of the local community. We ask that everyone treats those around them with respect.

Therefore, please dispose of any litter, whether that’s the in bins provided or taken home.

And please don’t use foul and abusive language. Any excessive drinking, taking of illegal drugs or damage to property will result in you being asked to leave immediately.

THANK YOU – ENJOY THE FOOTBALL!
