Creating departmental events in Bizzabo
Bizzabo can host events for departments outside of central activity, at any time in the year. This guide will explain the steps to creating those events.
Information Required
To set up a departmental event, we'll need to know:
- Event Title and Dates
- Session(s)
- Title(s)
- Date(s) and Time(s)
- Description(s)
- Speakers and Moderators (name, email, role)
- Session settings (webinar or meeting)
- Any changes to the standard registration form
- Study level (undergraduate vs postgraduate)
- Any appropriate deadlines (go-live date for example)
- Where the event should be hosted on departmental pages
- Any copy and images for the landing page
- Email content (copy and images) for:
- Registration confirmation email
- Cancellation confirmation email
- Event reminder email(s) and schedule
- Data importing schedule to Azorus (how often and when).
