Stage 2: Formal Departmental Investigation and Resolution
If you have been unable to resolve your Stage 1 complaint informally using local resolution you can submit a Stage 2 complaint for Formal Departmental Investigation and Resolution. Section 8 of the Student Complaints Resolution Procedure gives full details of how you can submit a Stage 2 complaint.
How to submit a formal Stage 2 complaint
- Seek support and advice: Wellbeing Support Services (including the Dean of Students' Office and Faculty Senior Tutors), the Students’ Union Advice Centre, and/or your Personal Tutor or Supervisor within your department.
- Download and complete the Formal Stage 2 Departmental Resolution Complaint form.
- Submit your completed Stage 2 Complaint Form, together with any relevant documentation and evidence, via the online Stage 2 Student Complaint Submission Page.
Please note that you need to be signed in with a University login code in order to allow the form to be submitted.
