SiteBuilder 2.496 released
We released SiteBuilder 2.496 on Monday 28th February 2022. In this version:

- We fixed a Components Editor bug which meant that the Conditional content component was not working as expected, and its settings were not honoured.
- We improved the guidance displayed when adding a Search component to your Components Editor page. You can do this by selecting Add special features from the left-hand menu, and selecting Search box from the sub-menu.
- We now remove space characters from the start and end of trading account IDs when setting up payment options at SiteBuilder forms.

SiteBuilder 2.494 released
We released SiteBuilder 2.494 on Tuesday 8th February 2022. In this version we made improvements to the Components Editor, including:
- We added a help icon which is displayed next to the Convert to Components Editor button. This links to a help page which explains how to convert your pages.
SiteBuilder 2.493 released
We released SiteBuilder 2.493 on Monday 7th February 2022. In this version we made bug fixes and improvements to the Components Editor, including:
- We made the module page template available in the Components Editor.
- It is now possible to make vertically arranged buttons stretch to fit the full height of their containing block. This makes it easier to keep elements of your page layout aligned with each other.
- It's now possible to delete a block layout from your page but retain its contents. You can do this by selecting Keep contents when you select to delete your block layout component. Your content is retained but is no longer inside the original columns. If you no longer need this content, select Delete contents to remove the block layout completely.
- We improved the resource booking page template for users navigating using only a keyboard. It's now possible to navigate between a page's resources by using the tab key, in the 4-day and Week views. This also applies to resource booking pages in the old visual editor.
- We added a class to the icon which appears next to links that open in a new window. This is to ensure the content is accessible to users who are using assistive technologies. Previously, the icon may have been ignored by some screen readers.
- We fixed a bug which caused the content of a news feed to appear empty when viewing previous versions of a page.
- We fixed a bug which caused inconsistent behaviour when creating and editing lists.
- We fixed a bug which meant that using the Undo and Redo buttons resulted in scrolling to the top of the page in the editor.
- We fixed a bug where news feeds did not always display the required number of items after converting the page to the Components Editor.
SiteBuilder 2.492 released
We released SiteBuilder 2.492 on Wednesday 26th January 2022. This release marks the end of the Components Editor beta phase.
It is now possible for you to convert most existing pages to the Components Editor. To do this, select Edit > More, then select Convert to Components Editor. You'll be able to preview what your page will look like for users once it's been converted, and can make any adjustments to your page before converting it. This process is permanent and cannot be undone, but you will see an option to Cancel if you wish to make any further changes or wait until later to convert your page. Once your page is converted, you can go to the page history to view and compare previous versions published using the old visual editor or raw editor, but cannot restore these. Subsequent versions of the page, published using the Components Editor, can be restored.
In this version we also made bug fixes and improvements, including:
- Users with contributor permissions can now preview Components Editor pages, as expected.
- We fixed a bug which meant it was possible to add a carousel component inside another carousel.
- We fixed a bug where some options were not displayed in the toolbar, for users browsing in Firefox.
- We added a further option to the box styles available in your site. This box has no background or border, but has padding. This is useful if you wish to enter text on an unstyled background, but would like to maintain alignment with other blocks in the same row. You can view the box styles available to you by selecting Add text & formatting from the left-hand menu, then selecting Block style.
- We fixed a bug which meant that it wasn't possible to exit the toolbar when navigating using only a keyboard.
- We fixed a bug so that text inside Box style 5 now has appropriate contrast to make it accessible. It was previously inaccessible in the component preview screen.
- We fixed a bug causing the Undo and Redo buttons to behave inconsistently in the Components Editor, including in Safari.
