Upload An Image: Galleries
When you upload an image you can choose to put it in any number of the galleries that you have created on you blog. The upload image form displays a list of your galleries with a checkbox for each one. You can put the image in more than one gallery if you wish, without having the image duplicated. It is also possible to upload an image without adding it to a gallery by not ticking any of the checkboxes. If you do this it will not be possible for people to browse to the image through the Galleries section of your blog, but you will be able to link to the image and add it to a blog entry.
To add the image to a gallery:
- Click in the checkbox next to each gallery in which you wish the image to appear.
- Complete the other options for uploading.
- Click on the 'Upload image' button.
Your image will then be displayed as confirmation of the upload, and the path to the image will be shown. You can then use this path to insert the image into a blog entry, or organise your images in the Admin Images section.
