Guidelines for Postgrad Hub Rooms
Room Usage Guidelines
There are 5 rooms for postgraduate group study within the Postgrad Hub. There is one room reserved for students registered with Disability Services.
Who can use these rooms?
- These rooms are for postgraduate groups only.
- Rooms are not to be used for staff meetings.
- Rooms should not be used for individual study/meetings.
- Try to use the most suitable room based on number of attendees.
What can these rooms be used for?
- Rooms can be used by students for
- Group study
- Meetings
- Peer-led teaching.

Rooms should not be used for academic tutor-led seminars.
Health & Safety:
- When using the group study rooms, they should not be locked from the inside for health and safety purposes.
- Do not leave personal belongings in rooms - unattended items may be cleared without notice and placed in lost property.
- No hot food or its packaging is to be brought inside the Postgrad Hub.
- Under no circumstance can children be left alone in bookable group study rooms, please refer to the main Library policy for information on children in Library spaces.
