This workshop will help Research Active Staff to understand and evidence your skills in preparation for job applications and interviews. It may also be useful for those who wish to interview for staff or participate in an interview.

The following will be covered:

  • Assessing skills gained and developed
  • Looking at evidence and examples
  • Language, terminology and techniques
  • Understanding the non-academic job market

By the end of the session you will have:

  • a better understanding of skills developed through the research process
  • how these apply to academic and non-academic roles
