About us

Warwick Philosophy offers an inclusive, supportive community for students eager to explore big ideas. We are internationally known for the quality of both our research and teaching, and for supporting diverse philosophical traditions in one department. Our dynamic, research-led teaching fosters skills in clear thinking, argumentation, critical analysis, and problem-solving. Key areas of strength include philosophy of mind and epistemology, Post-Kantian European philosophy, aesthetics, and moral, political, and legal philosophy. We collaborate with many disciplines in our research and teaching, including politics, economics, law, psychology, mathematics, English and history.
