This lunchtime session is designed to increase career awareness and provide you with the opportunity to consider what steps you need to take to progress in your chosen career.

This session will not be providing individual feedback on your CV (structure of Cv, language, etc)

Who is it for?

Research Active Staff

Session Objectives:

By the end of the session you will gain:

  • an understanding of the differences in academic positions within universities
  • an understanding of yourself , your values and drivers and how these impact on your career choice
  • a chance to assess your capabilities and expertise
  • protected time to plan your next career steps
  • an understanding of the support, learning and development resources available to you to manage your development
