Dr Chris Twine
Biography
Chris joined the University Executive Board in 2022, initially as Secretary to Council. In his current role he leads a range of Professional Services teams to support excellence in education and research. Chris is UEB lead accountable for: Information & Digital Group; Communications, Marketing, Insight & Student Recruitment; Campus & Commercial Services; and Governance, Assurance & Risk. He is also Secretary to Council, advising and supporting our governing body.
Chris started his Higher Education career following completion of his PhD in International History at Aberystwyth, and joined the University of Warwick as a generalist Administrative Officer from 2001 - 2003. He moved to the University of Birmingham, becoming Assistant Director of Academic and Student Administration in 2007, and Director of Student Services in 2015. Chris held the post of Academic Registrar at the University of Wolverhampton from early 2015 and returned to Warwick as Academic Registrar in 2018.
