Evidence Checklist
For us to process your application you will need to provide evidence of your circumstances. The documents should be applicable for the 2024-25 academic year and clearly show your name or the name of the person it relates to. Please note, that failure to provide all required evidence will result in a delay to you being offered a Hardship Fund appointment.
All Students
- Photo of your Warwick ID card (this must be in date).
- Rent contract/ mortgage statement (not required for on-campus accommodation).

Bank statements, for all accounts held, that cover the full 3 months before the date you submit your application.

For example, if you submit your application on the 15th October we would need statements covering the 15th July to the 15th October.

This includes joint, savings, trading, and cryptocurrency accounts. Please note you must submit statements even if the account has a £0 balance or there have been no transactions within the last 3 months.

Income
Undergraduate/ MBChB/ PGCE Students
- All pages of your Student Finance notification letter.
- Evidence of any scholarships and bursaries NOT paid by the University of Warwick.
- Evidence of Government benefits Link opens in a new window(if applicable).
- If you are a part-time student, and work you will need to provide payslips from the start of the academic year.
- NHS Bursary Notification and Payment Breakdown (if applicable).
- Evidence of Child Maintenance (if applicable).
- Income from any other sources. For example, parental contributions, pensions, savings, tenants, sponsors, other loans, investments, etc.
Postgraduate Students
- All pages of your Student Finance notification letter if you receive a Master's or Doctoral Loan.
- Research Funding Council Award Notice.
- Payslips from the start of the academic year.
- Evidence of Government benefitsLink opens in a new window (if applicable).
- Evidence of Child Maintenance (if applicable).
- Income from any other sources. For example, parental contributions, pensions, savings, tenants, sponsors, other loans, investments etc.
Expenditure
All students (as applicable)
- Your most recent credit card(s)/ store card(s)/ loan statements (this includes Klarna/Paypal Credit etc.).
- Council Tax Notification Letter (if not exempt).
- Evidence of any Council Tax, utility or rent/mortgage debt.
- Evidence of a Debt Management Plan.
- If you have a mortgage, evidence of buildings insurance.
- If you have a partner, they must complete the Partner Information FormLink opens in a new window and upload their evidence.
- If you have a child in registered childcare, you must complete a Childcare Information FormLink opens in a new window and get it signed by your childcare provider.
