Beef Wraps

Beef Wraps

This is a very versatile wrap. You can add as much or as little of the ingredients listed based on your preference. You can even add more to it if you like. The key is to enjoy the process!

Ingredients

  • 1 tortilla wrap
  • 100g beef mince (5-10% is best)
  • 1 cheese slice
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup/ tomato puree
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Rosemary, Oregano, Paprika
  • Condiments of your choice

Method

Beef Prep

  1. Add beef mince to a pan on a medium heat (no need to add oil as the beef will render fat).
  2. Once nearly cooked, add the chopped onions, garlic powder, salt, pepper, ketchup, and stir to combine.
  3. You can add the optional dry ingredients at this stage and finish cooking the beef.

Tortilla

  1. Place a slice of cheese on the tortilla.
  2. Add the prepped beef and, optionally, top it off with another slice of cheese.
  3. You can drizzle on some mayonnaise or other condiment of choice (I like Siracha).
  4. Fold the tortilla into a wrap and place it on the same pan you used to prep the beef. Remove when the tortilla gets lightly toasted.
  5. Serve with your favourite condiment, and enjoy!

Serving Suggestion:

Make it a full meal with some Rice or Seasoned Potatoes!
