- 170g plain flour
- 60g cocoa powder

Whip 120g of butter with a hand mixer until it is soft.
- Add both types of sugar to the butter and mix.
- Add the egg and vanilla to the sugar and butter mix and combine until it becomes a smooth paste.

- Portion out the dough into 12 equal dough balls on a tray lined with greaseproof paper. If you haven't added your chocolate chips to the cookie dough balls, top them with them now.
- Put the tray of cookie dough balls in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat your oven to 180c.
- After at least 1 hour in the fridge, bake the cookie in your preheated oven for 10-12 minutes.
- Take the cookies out of the oven and leave them to cool and firm up.
- Enjoy!
