How to make pizza dough
This recipe makes two 10" pizzas, so why not invite your friend round for a fakeaway treat!
Taste: Simplicity: Cost:
Ingredients
- 350g bread flour (plus additional for dusting surface)
 - 1 sachet of yeast
 - 1/2 tablespoon caster sugar
 - 1 tablespoon table salt
 - 200ml warm water
 - Splash of olive/vegetable oil
 - Pizza toppings of your choice

Method
-
Add the bread flour, yeast, caster sugar and table salt to a large bowl or baking dish. Mix the ingredients.
 - Create a hole in the middle of the ingredients and pour the water into the hole.
 - Combine the water with the dry ingredients to start creating a dough.
 - Knead the mixture by hand. If it is too wet or sticky, add more flour. If it is too dry, add a splash of water. It can also help to wet your hands first. Once the mixture starts to resemble a dough, knead properly for 5 minutes.
 - Add the mixture to a bowl and drizzle a bit of olive oil on top of the dough. Cover the bowl with clingfilm or a clean tea towel and let the dough rest for at least 20-30 minutes.
 - After resting, take your dough out of the bowl and flour a clean kitchen surface. Split the dough into two equal portions. Roll out the dough into 10" diameter pizzas.
 - Bake the dough on pizza trays in a 180°C oven for around 4 minutes.
 - After baking in the oven, take your dough out carefully and add whatever toppings you'd like.
 - Bake the completed pizzas for 10-12 minutes or until the centre of the base is crisp and the toppings are bubbling.
 - Enjoy!
