Ingredients
- One egg
- Udon noodles
- Soy sauce
- Spring onions
Method
- Put the noodles into the large bowl (break them up if needed) and fill the bowl with enough water to cover the noodles.
- Put the microwave at the 600w setting, then microwave the noodles for 2 minutes.
- Take out, drain the water and set aside for now.
- Crack an egg into the small bowl, then add enough water to just cover the egg.
- Use chopsticks/ a fork to poke holes in the yolk (very important!).
- Put the microwave at the 600w setting, then microwave the egg for a minute, taking it out at 20-second intervals (also very important!).
- Take out and drain the water.
- Put the egg on top of the Udon noodles.
- Drizzle soy sauce over the top, garnish with spring onions if needed, and serve!
