I am a first year PhD student in the Rachel O'Reilly group. My research concentrates on the synthesis of self assembled nanoparticle structures formed from amphiphilic diblock polymers; where the nanoparticle has chiral characteristics. These can be used for multiple functions
- Separation of enantiomers
- Loading the inner core with a catalytic monomer (derived from the MacMillan catalyst) for the Diels Alder reaction
- Loading with a metal catalyst for the Diels Alder reaction
For further information on my research interests see my research page.
