Academic Fellow of the Institute for Advanced Teaching and Learning (IATL)

Awarded an academic fellowship in the value of £3000 for the design and development of a new experimental activity to become part of the undergradaute curricula from the 2017/2018 academic year. The project was titled "Photochemistry of sunscreen molecules" and applies concepts of my own research to the teaching of essential physical chemistry concepts to undergrdaute chemistry students.

Royal Society of Chemistry Travel Grant and Conference Bursary, August 2016

Awarded £165 to travel to Edinburgh to attend the Faraday Discussion meeting on Ultrafast Imaging of Photochemical Dynamics in August 2016. Awarded a further £150 as a conference bursary to attend the same meeting.
