The government has published a change to the Immigration Rules. This change means that nationals of Colombia, who are coming to the UK to visit for less than 6 months, now need to apply for and receive a Standard Visit Visa before attempting to travel to the UK. This is because Colombia has now been added to the Immigration Rules Appendix Visitor: Visa National ListLink opens in a new window.

The change does not apply to Colombian nationals who hold a confirmed travel booking to the UK made before 15:00 GMT on 26 November 2024 and arrive in the UK no later than 15:00 GMT on 24 December 2024.
