Criminal Convictions
Criminal Convictions
If you have been convicted of a criminal offence (excluding (a) motoring offences for which a fine and/or a maximum of three penalty points were imposed, or (b) spent sentences), then you are required to declare this, by selecting the 'Yes' option above. If you have not been convicted of a criminal offence, then you must select the 'No' option.
You should be aware that applicants for particular courses must declare any criminal convictions, including spent sentences and cautions. This is particularly relevant for applicants to Teaching, Health, and Social Work programmes. If you are in doubt, then you should contact the University and seek advice.
By signing this declaration you are confirming that all the information you have provided in this form is accurate. If you submit untrue or inaccurate information you may be subject to Regulation 6 of the University Regulations.
Please refer to the University Regulations for more information, with particular reference to Regulation 6, 34 and 36.
